“Portland is the land of makers, of artists, musicians, writers—all of whom come together to elevate quirky, fun, and creative products that only thrive here. The PNCA Makers Market celebrates our best and brightest emerging artists. It is a great way for families, neighbors, and local businesses to support our vibrant downtown and our creative community.” — Jen Cole, Dean, PNCA
This beloved event offers a unique opportunity to shop for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts while supporting emerging talent within Portland’s thriving art scene.
“Now more than ever, it is so important to shop local, build community, and support emerging artists!” — Dylan Mead, Past Student Organizer
“This event is an incredible display of the talent of our students, and a great opportunity to shop small and support their emerging creatives. Come find gifts for your loved ones and chat with local artists.” – Lyz Rowe, Current Student Organizer
For over a decade, this event has connected the community with PNCA’s student artists, providing a platform for these creatives to engage directly with the public and gain hands-on experience in business, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Students retain 100% of the proceeds from their sales, making this event a critical stepping stone in their professional development and artistic careers.
