we dive into the fascinating world of oriental music with the virtuous Egyptian Ihab Radwan during an immersive conference. We discovered the oriental maqams, equivalent to the scales of western music and the deep meaning of its name, such as the Saba scale, which evokes the wind of the wind in the desert. Through the analysis of a Sufi composition, it is explored how composers convey initiatory and spiritual messages through their music, offering a true inner journey to listeners. This unique experience will include a carefully selected parts recital by Ihab Radwan, illustrating the intimate connection between oriental music modes and human feelings.
