Ing. Mgr. et Mgr. Klára Brohová, Ph.D. From the CTU, in its lecture, it will deal with the topic of women in Czech architecture of the 20th century. She will present a professional trajectory and works of Milada Petříková -Pavlíková - the first promoted architects to leave the gates of the Prague CTU. It will also focus on other generations of architects, their professional application on the domestic architectural scene and the reception of their work.
Ing. Mgr. et Mgr. Klára Brohová, Ph.D. She is a historian of architecture and scientific and pedagogical worker of the Institute of theory and History of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of CTU. It focuses on the history of architecture and urbanism of the 20th century, deals with the issue of post -war architecture and the question of its monument protection, and is currently also focused on women architects in the 2nd half of the 20th century. In addition to the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University, the Department of History and Art at UMPRUM works at the Department of History and Art. In addition to other extensive publishing activities, she is the author of the books of Prague's Vision and Prague, and last but not least, the laureate of the Josef Hlávka Award and the CTU Rector Award in Prague. Both received in 2015, when her dissertation was awarded on the theme of unrealized Prague urban projects and the Vltava banks in the context of the transformation of the city.
