About event
A short period between the two world wars was a space in which they crystallized the ideas of ideal ways to deal with the structure of historic cities. Most of the new ideas, however, failed on the reality of ownership, which Petrified the existing situation and only exceptionally offered space by a larger conceptual solution. The destruction of many European cities during the Second World War or their depopulation gave rise to a unique situation. The renewal became the laboratory open to the experiment. The topic will be presented by a pedagogical and researcher FA CTU, doc. Ing. Milena Hauserová, CSc.
Doc. Ing. Milena Hauserová, CSc. He is a rightly respected personality not only of the Institute of Monument Care at the Faculty of Architecture of the Czech Technical University, on which he has been working for a long time, but of the whole field of monument care and the history of architecture in the Czech Republic. In addition to its main professional interest, which is medieval architecture specializing in the history of the medieval town house and sacral architecture, it intensively deals with the history of cultural landscape, also deals with theoretical issues of monument care and many other specialized topics, including urban urbanism.
