We are serving you the ninth annual summer cinema in Pragovec, this time with the overarching theme Mutual benefits. This year we will be screening in the MaxSpace lobby for the Permanent Beer Fest every Tuesday after dark. Free admission (it is possible to make a voluntary contribution). Until the start of the projection, you can visit the Pragovka Gallery during extended opening hours. Refreshments will be provided by Permanent Beer Fest.
We start on June 16 at 21:30 with the film Mr. Nobody against Put*nov (94 min).
We will show the film in its original version with Czech subtitles.
Pasha lives in a small Russian town and is a popular teacher at the local elementary school. With the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, the content of his work will completely change. He is forced to organize activities in accordance with the new war guidelines and document them on camera. The demands on teachers increase, Pash's former students leave for the front and the atmosphere in the city thickens. Frustrated, Pasha decides to fight as best he can. He begins to film not only state-mandated activities, but also everyday life inside and outside the school, with the aim of showing the world the impact of war and an authoritarian regime on the local community. The film Mr. Nobody against Put*nov brings a raw look at the workings of Russian propaganda and tells a thrilling story about a man who decides to risk everything in order not to betray his values.
