As Europe faces new challenges, how will the Visegrad Group evolve? Can this alliance continue to effectively navigate shifting political landscapes, economic challenges, and growing divisions within the EU? What role should young people and civil society play in shaping the future of regional cooperation in Central Europe?
These are just a few of the critical questions we’ll explore at our upcoming Youth-Led Panel Discussion on "The Future of the Visegrad Group", brought to you by BETA Slovakia in collaboration with ODM and the office of the European Parliament in Bratislava.
Join us on 16th October at 17:00 at the House of the European Union in Bratislava (Palisády 29), as we bring together distinguished guest speakers, including H.E. Csaba Balogh, Ambassador to Hungary; Tomáš Valášek, Member of the Slovak Parliament; and sociologist and politologist at FSES UK Oľga Gyárfášová, for a deep dive into the role of the Visegrad Group in today’s Europe. The event will be moderated by the esteemed journalist Mr. Štefan Hudec.
The discussion will begin with a brief introduction to BETA Slovakia, followed by a 60-minute debate, an interactive Q&A session, and an informal reception with light refreshments.
