We want to examine the humanitarian crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the associated refugee movements. Particular attention is paid to the fact that not all people have the opportunity to flee. The international community and diaspora organizations play a crucial role in supporting those affected in Congo and in the recipient countries. It is also important to understand the experiences of the people in the diaspora who have been forced to flee.
