Dear supporters of the Common Law Society,
We would like to invite you to a panel discussion organized at the Law Faculty of Charles University in room no. and editor -in -chief of Reflex magazine. During his career he worked for Czech Television and TV Nova, in November 2016 he became a member of the editorial office of Reflex magazine. Since 2022, he has been a political glossary who visits demonstrations, courts and political meetings from which he reports in the form of an online glossary. He studied journalism at Masaryk University in Brno.
Jan Charvát is a political scientist specializing in the issue of political historical extremism and radicalism. He works at the Department of Political Science of IPS FSV UK, which he also studied, and is the author of the book Contemporary Political Extremism and Radicalism (2007). In addition to academic activities, he also cooperates with non -profit organizations such as People in Need, Hate Free Culture and In Iustia.
Michal Kormaňák is an important expert in political surveys and public opinion. Since 2014 he has been working in the Ipsos research agency, where he has been a public affair director. He specializes in election research, projects for state administration and actively participates in public discussions and publications on political events in the Czech Republic. He studied political science at the Faculty of Arts of Palacký University in Olomouc.
Jindřich Šídlo is a Czech journalist, editor and political commentator. During his career, he worked in the weekly Respekt, Mladá fronta Dnes and Hospodářské noviny, later he held office on Czech Television, where he was the main political analyst. Since September 2016 he has been working for a list of news where he has his own program Happy Monday. He studied journalism at FSV UK and holds Peroutka Prize and Journalism.
The moderator of the discussion will be Martin Veselovský, who has rich experience on radio, television and online media. During his career he moderated the program events, comments on Czech Television, in 2014 together with Daniela Drtinová and Jan Rozkošný founded the internet television DVTV, where he still works as a moderator. He has won several journalistic awards for his work, including the F. Peroutka Award and Journalist Prizes. at 20:00 at the Faculty!
