PARALLAX: Michal Pustějovský

The exhibition Parallax Michal Pustějovský presents a set of brushed aluminum images, projections and data structures moving on the border of image, information and space. Here, the author works with light as an active element that transforms the perception of the work depending on the movement of the viewer, the angle of view and the intensity of the lighting. The seen digital landscapes or numerical records are created by mechanical grinding of aluminum plates and, with the help of light, create variable optical situations on the border between a physical object and an immaterial image. The exhibition also includes works based on binary code, including the realization of Binary self portrait from 2008, as well as a projection using the moiré effect and mechanical image movement. Parallax opens up a space in which light, data and matter are constantly changing and questioning the stability of vision itself

• The opening will take place on 21/05/2026 from 18:00 to 22:00 at Galeria Dimenze Výtoň.
• The exhibition will last from 22/05 to 14/06/2026. It is open Friday to Sunday from 14:00 to 18:00.
