Decision making: Sinai as a case study / Dr. David Bernstein
What actually shapes our major decisions - pressure from above, faith, our own judgment, or something else entirely? On the story of the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai and its interpretations, we will show different decision-making models. Let's think about what they tell us about how we make decisions today.

The Midrash offers us differing understandings of how the Jewish people received the Torah. Was it divine coercion? Blind faith? Something else? We will examine some of the sources and apply them to our own decision-making.
