About event
Platform of accessibility for parents and children Parent-Friendly Culture combines forces with Flash Art Czech & Slovak Edition on the occasion of publishing 75.
We are interested in how cultural institutions can reflect and promote the diversity of family structures in their programs and operation. As part of the discussion circle, we will look at several strategies of how culture is available to those who have limited participation possibilities for various reasons, and how institutions can actively support the emergence of healthy relationships within families and communities. We will ask together: What support structures can families (and their diverse form) create? How can we respond to the lack of systemic support and why should we all strive for a healthy environment for families? The afternoon will include the launch of the new issue of Flash Art magazine and presenting the results of the Parent-Friendly Culture platform and its next direction.

guests and guests of the discussion circle: Veronika Čechová (Society of Jindřich Chalupecký), Petr Globočník (Libuše-Neighbor House), Marika Smreková (Parent-Ferendly Culture) In its current edition, Slovak Edition focuses on family transformations - what it looks like today and how it could work in the future. It monitors various forms of coexistence, from specific communities to relation to public space. It opens the topics of crisis, pressures and new possibilities, reflects the standards, identity and position of minorities. The family is not seen here as a fixed structure, but as a question of choice, solidarity and survival.
