About event
Josh Dion - Vocals, Drums, Keyboard
Geoff Kraly - Electric Bass, Modular Synth
With strong elements of funk and soul, paris_monster closes the gap between synthetic sound and garage, between modern attention to detail and rough old-school grit. Solid grounding. Wide-ranging soundscapes. A wall of noise. Volatility. Unique vocals. Dirty, glitchy, text-centric, groove-based. Funk and soul combine with lyrical themes of bygone times in a rural setting. Lost characters, confronting mortality. Love, found and failed. Americana. These themes stand in stark contrast to driving grooves and electronic chaos, creating depth and dimension - as if a modular synthesizer had been placed in the middle of the cornfields of upstate New York or the forests of Connecticut.
Start: 9:00 p.m. (doors open at 8:00 p.m.)
Admission: €25
