Although we long for belonging, mutual support and collective organization, in the current conditions we do not always have enough strength for this.
The core of the Park of Culture and Sigh in the Ján Koniark Gallery in Trnava is a variable structure made of plastic crates full of energy drinks, with which we keep ourselves in a state of constant productivity, fight fatigue and deny our own limits and needs. The program consists of regular events - performances, discussions, support groups, workshops - prepared on the basis of an open call by members of the Cultural Department. Let's concentrate our energy in such a way that we support each other, teach each other, take care of ourselves or encourage cooperation to improve our (not only working) conditions! Originally, such clubs were created on their own, as part of the collective organizing and political emancipation of the working class. The Park of Culture and Sighing is an offer for the collective creation of such a space/tool in the conditions of late capitalism, by and for today's notoriously tired workers in culture and beyond.
