On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the historic NTM train led by steam locomotive 464.102 "Ušatá" from 1940 will depart for the Audience with Emperor Charles I.

🚂 At the head of the train will be a steam locomotive 464.102 "Ušatá" from 1940, which is a unique document of the interwar Czechoslovak steam locomotive design school. The locomotive served on the tracks until 1978 and was then handed over to the NTM collections. During the demanding renovation completed in 2023, it was possible to bring the machine to an impeccable technical condition guaranteeing long-term functionality. It was restored to a representative appearance corresponding to the period of the 1950s. The participants of the event will drive in cars from the last decades before the end of steam service.
The event is being held on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the accession of the Habsburgs to the Czech throne. It will take place at the Brandýs nad Labem Castle and in the castle garden, in the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Stará Boleslav and at the Brandýs nad Labem train station.
