An exceptional ride with the steam locomotive 434.2338 "Štvorkolák" 🚂 from 1917 with a historical set consisting of Ce ČSD wagons for the history of the International Peace Marathon 🏃♂️ from Košice to Turne nad Bodvou.
This year too, we have prepared a trip for you with the MMM organizers and the village of Turnňa nad Bodvou to the starting point of the first MMM in Košice. 🏃🏁
PROGRAM ✨
• departure of the historic steam train from Košice at 8:30
• welcoming the marathon train in Turni nad Bodvou
• laying of wreaths at the memorial plaque of Vojtech Gerster and at the monument to the first start of MMM
• picnic on the playground, grilling 🍎🍖
• bouncy castle 🏰, face painting 🎨
• Castellum Cassovia-gentleman's foot tournament and tasting of medieval cuisine
OPTIONS IN THE VILLAGE TOURNAMENT n. BODVOU AND SURROUNDINGS
• tourist trip 🥾 to Turnian castle 🏰 (our TIP) (approx. 2 to 3 hours - there and back, 6.4 km)
• Gothic church ⛪️ of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary built at the beginning of the 14th century
• full-day tourist trip 🥾 to Hájsky waterfalls (approx. 5 hours, 13.7 km)
