About event
Explore the in -depth world of Arvo Pärt, a composer who changed the music world forever on March 7, 2026 in the Muziekgebouw.
The Estonian composer Arvo Pärt is without a doubt one of the most sung composers of our time. There is hardly a choir that his work does not have on the repertoire. The ESTS Philharmonic Chamber Choir plays his music even more intense and more striking than others. Probably also because of the frequent contact with the composer. NRC Handelsblad wrote about their concert during the Pärt Festival 2022 in the Muziekgebouw: "A privilege to be allowed to experience. Ingetogen… ontzagwekkend…’.
Programma:
Arvo Pärt Missa syllabica
Arvo Pärt Sieben Magnificat-Antiphonen
Arvo Pärt Magnificat
Arvo Pärt Deer’s Cry
Arvo Pärt Dopo la Vittoria
Arvo Pärt Kontakion, Ikos, Prayer After the Canon from Kanon Pokajans
