We invite you to the “Party of Flavors” — a day where food becomes a language of communication, and flavors become an excuse to remember, share, feel, and laugh together. This is a new format of Quarteera events, where each evening is dedicated to one country or region: for example, Armenia, Italy, Georgia, Japan, and others.

We cook dishes from that country, listen to its music, learn about its traditions and contemporary culture, and explore together how the queer community lives and feels there today.

First stop — Armenia 🇦🇲

A country of sun, mountains, pomegranates, and tremendous hospitality.

We will cook Armenian tolma together — a dish that connects generations.

Armenian tolma consists of grape leaves, cabbage, or vegetables wrapped around a filling of rice, vegetables, spices, and (optionally) meat (lamb, beef, pork). Every family makes it their own way, but with one unchanging rule: cook with love and share.

What to expect:

🔸 cooking and tasting tolma together;

🔸 Armenian music, short videos, or mini-presentations about Armenia;

🔸 stories about its traditions and modern culture;

🔸 discussion about how the queer community lives in the country — who is visible and who is still in the shadows;

🔸 comfort, tea, new acquaintances, and warmth.

🇦🇲 Вечеринка вкусов: Армения

Мы приглашаем тебя на «Вечеринку вкусов» — день, где еда становится языком общения, а вкусы — поводом вспомнить, рассказать, почувствовать и посмеяться вместе. Это новый формат событий Quarteera, где каждый вечер посвящён одной стране или территории: например, Армении, Италии, Грузии, Японии и другим.

Мы готовим блюда этой страны, слушаем ее музыку, знакомимся с традициями, узнаем о современной культуре и вместе исследуем, как живет и чувствует себя квир-сообщество там сегодня.

Первая остановка — Армения 🇦🇲

Страна солнца, гор, гранатов и огромного гостеприимства.

Мы будем готовить вместе армянскую толму — блюдо, которое соединяет поколения.

Армянская Толма — это виноградные листья, капуста или овощи в которые заворачивают фарш из риса, овощей, специй и (по желанию) мяса (баранина, говядина, свинина). Каждая семья делает её по-своему, но с неизменным правилом: готовить с любовью и делиться.

Что тебя ждёт:

🔸 совместное приготовление и дегустация толмы;

🔸 армянская музыка, короткие видео или мини-презентации об Армении;

🔸 рассказы о её традициях и современной культуре;

🔸 обсуждение, как живёт квир-сообщество в стране — кто видим, а кто всё ещё в тени;

🔸 уют, чай, новые знакомства и тепло.
