About event
Ceremonial opening of the campaign and publication of a new art clip.
Czech nature conservationists and artists in cooperation with the City Hall of the City of Prague present the new "Bird Traps" campaign, which draws attention to unnecessary bird deaths.
Every year, millions of birds die in the wild in the Czech Republic due to man's fault, and with them the biodiversity of our landscape is lost. Often, only small changes would be enough and these deaths could be prevented.
We filmed a powerful emotional clip with the director Radim Vaňous and leading Czech dancers right in the Czech countryside, which draws attention to the unnecessary deaths of birds. The Czech Coalition for the Protection of Biodiversity (CCBC) together with the Czech Ornithological Society (ČSO) want to warn against dangerous and unsafe places for birds. Composer Beata Hlavenková tells the story with music and choreographer Jan Kodet with movement.
Jakub Kois created the illustrations.
Come and see the result.
