About event
Composition for string quartet has a long and rich tradition in Slovak music. However, it enjoys lively interest even today, and the interpretive activity of bodies, among which Mucha's quartet occupies a prominent place, plays a significant role in this. In addition to the opuses of creators extremely experienced in this field, such as Iris Szeghy and Jevgenij Iršai, it will be an interesting confrontation with the works of authors who are also active players on stringed instruments, Milan Paľa and Anton Jara, but also biology-inspired quartet studies from the pen of Barbora Mišíková. The concert will take place on November 10 in the Moyzes Hall in Bratislava
