Patrónka a okolie

The guided tour is focused on the Patrónka location and its wider surroundings as a space with a rich history, technical monuments and important social events. Part of the presentation will also be technical and economic monuments in the wider area, especially the history of the mills, which were important economic objects of the city and significantly influenced the development of this area.

However, we will go even further into the past and imagine the location in the times of Mayor Jakub. The tour will also touch on the tragic events of the 20th century, specifically the deportations of the Jewish population during the Second World War, with which the location of Patronka is historically connected.

Participants will get to know the historical context of these events and their significance for the historical memory of the city. The guided tour will point out the connection between history, technical heritage and the current urban development of this important part of Bratislava.
