After years spent in the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous, James becomes the sponsor of newcomer Luka. The pair bond over coffee, exchange stories and build a fragile friendship based on shared experiences. However, as Luka approaches the fifth step - the moment of confession, dangerous truths begin to emerge, threatening the trust on which the healing of both depends.
Finn den Hertog (also known as an actor, e.g. from the series The Foreigner) directs the provocative and funny production, shot live at Soho Place in London's West End.
