Weltstar Paul Potts & Friends
with: Kevin Pabst & Florian Schäfer
One of the largest and best -known classical stars of our time returns to Germany in winter 2025. Paul Potts serves the audience very special highlights at an international level. Today's world star realized his very own dream. Because the Paul Potts is on the big stages today was anything but a matter of course. After being bullied and mocked at school, he found refuge in the local church choir. When he heard La Boheme at the age of 16, he fell in love with the opera and began a passionate romance that led him on a turbulent journey. Finally, in 2007 he won the first season of Britain’s Got Talent and that changed his life forever.
For Paul Potts, born in Bristol, the music was always a source of consolation from years of bullying, financial hardship, medical setbacks and a lack of self -confidence. For this reason, he took the opportunity to appear at the first episode of Britain’s Got Talent. The cell phone seller went to the microphone in front of the jury to present his interpretation of Nessun Dorma. When his voice rose, Great Britain - and the whole world - fell in love with its history and incredible talent. A little later, 12 million viewers experienced how Potts was chosen as Britain’s Got Talent. His audition of ‘Nessun Dorma’ remains one of the most watched videos in YouTube history, his debut and multi-platinum album “One Chance” achieved number one in 15 countries and he was invited twice for Queen Elizabeth II. Still shared with fans on all continents.
His inspiring path was also told in the Hollywood film "One Chance". But that was far from the end of his story. On the contrary: Paul Potts has been on tour continuously since then and has already completed over 1,000 appearances in 45 countries.
In addition to "One Chance", he published six more studio albums, including "Passione" (2009), "Cinema Paradiso" (2010) and "Home" (2014), as well as a greatest collection (2013). In 2017 he published his fifth studio album "On Stage" on the occasion of the ten -year anniversary of his historical victory, followed by "Winter Dreams" (2019). Paul Pott's album "Musica non proibita" is a double album with arias that he recorded in his "at home" sessions during the lockdown. He also took part in “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” and prevailed against other winners from all over the world in the grand finale.
Despite the turbulent last years in the tour industry, Paul Potts managed to perform in South Korea, Japan, Scandinavia, Germany, the United Kingdom and Wales. He also spent many months in the recording studio. In April 2022 he appeared as a "Koala" in the German version of "The Masked Singer" and delighted the audience with classics from A-Ha, Toto, Elton John and Dua Lipa.
On his tour in the winter of 2025, Paul Potts of trumpet virtuosos and entertainer Kevin Pabst and Pianist Florian Schäfer will be Accompanied.
