About event
The publication of the well-known Čapologist and lawyer Pavel Vespalca brings a carefully prepared view of Čapka's stays and work in Chyš, Brložec, Hrádek u Prohoře and Karlovy Vary.
In the book, the author focuses on lesser-known aspects of Karel Čapek's life and his relationship to the places in the Karlovy Vary Region where he created
and rested. Vespalco's monograph, complete with excerpts
from correspondence and period photographs, is an unusual
contribution to Čapkovo research, which attempts to
map the author's stay in this region in detail.
