USA 2024, 128 min, director: Alex Ross Perry
Pavements is a meta-biopic, mockumentary, and concert film all wrapped into one. Director Alex Ross Perry accompanies the US alternative band Pavement as they prepare for their sold-out reunion tour in 2022 — as well as a musical based on their songs, a museum devoted to the band, and a big-budget Hollywood biopic.

Pavements breaks all genre boundaries, is a meta-biopic, mockumentary and concert film at the same time. Director Alex Ross Perry accompanies the US alternative band Pavement as they prepare for their sold-out reunion tour in 2022. And then there is also the band musical, the band museum and the big Hollywood production in the pipeline. (Munich Film Festival)
