About event
Pearl & The Oysters, the French-American duo of Juliette Pearl Davis and Joachim Polack, created in a Parisian high school where their shared passion for jazz from the 1970s and Space Age Pop from the nineties directly created a creative click. Since then they write and perform together, and in 2015 they ventured into the Atlantic Ocean.
After four years in Florida, Pearl & The Oysters dived into the bustling music scene of Los Angeles, where they connected to local artists and the album 'Voltooed'. The sunny plate, as the name suggests, inspiration from the lush beaches of both locations and contains guest contributions from Lætitia Sadier (Stereolab) and Riley Gare (Unknown Mortal Orchestra), among others.
After the release of the world, supported the Duooo Rainbow and released their most recent album 'Planet Pearl' last September. With this album in his pocket, the duo will visit our upper room on Thursday 29 May.
