About event
Only for Creators Classics reservation holders concert is free (donation welcome, as always). Experience an evening dedicated to the beauty and passion of French Romantic opera at the distinguished Bank Austria Salon in Vienna.
Pearls of French Romanticism brings together three outstanding artists: mezzo-soprano Yulia Savrasova, baritone Andrei Maksimov, and pianist Jack Dauner for a refined concert of celebrated arias and duets.
Guests can expect a brilliant and contrasting program that spans the dazzling piano virtuosity of Frédéric Chopin to the dramatic world of Georges Bizet and French opera.
The evening includes some of Chopin’s most technically demanding and celebrated études, including the powerful “Revolutionary” Étude and the sweeping “Ocean” Étude, showcasing brilliance, speed, and emotional intensity at the piano.
Alongside these masterpieces, audiences will hear beloved operatic highlights such as the famous Toreador Song from Carmen and the iconic Habanera, two of the most recognizable arias in the operatic repertoire.
The program also offers a rarer gem: the baritone version of Werther, a work not often performed in this form, giving listeners a unique chance to experience a lesser-heard interpretation of Massenet’s masterpiece.
