About event
Another Brno Pecha Kucha Night returns in its pre-Christmas 27th edition with the subtitle "ELEMENTS". We think of the elements as a theme full of contrasts, in which beauty and destruction, calm and storm, creation and destruction intertwine. How to face the destruction of water, of fire, wind or war? How to prepare for a flood or migration wave? How to listen to nature or society so that we can prevent dramatic situations or respond to them appropriately?
We will discuss all this with our performers on Thursday 28 November 2024 at 19:00 in the Brno Theater.
[Peča-kuča] is a Japanese term for talking, but also a way of introducing interesting people, ideas and projects. In addition to a brisk presentation, for which each participant has a limit of 6 minutes 40 seconds (20 images x 20 seconds), the party is primarily a meeting of designers, architects, artists and other people from creative fields. The format from the Klein Dytham architecture workshop has gained popularity worldwide since its launch in 2003. Since 2009, Pecha Kucha has also belonged to Brno.
We will inform you about the guests of the evening in the coming weeks on the FA and FAVU BUT social networks, but you can look forward to e.g. on Bára Lungová - artist, on Pavel Nový from arch. atelier 0.5 Studio or at Petr Krejzek and Ivan Adamovič - magazine Živel.
The event is created in cooperation with the Faculty of Architecture BUT and the Faculty of Fine Arts BUT.
The project is carried out with financial support of the statutory city of Brno.
