THE WORKSHOP - Pelvic explorations 4. with Ágnes Grélinger

We invite you to an embodied movement research workshop to connect with ourselves and the collective body. All curious individuals are welcome.
Starting from our extremities, we’ll continue to explore where the energies from the material and immaterial plane meet; our centre. The power and softness of our pelvis.
Through games, guided movement, somatic practices, visualisation, meditation we will explore what it means to reconnect to our bodies’ innate wisdom, ancestral knowledge and memory.
What wants to come to our consciousness;
what's the priority of the body - individual and collective- to be revealed,
what stories, connections does the body want to tell,
right now?
Through paying attention and slow movement exercises, we are bending time and space; expanding our capacity to imagine, to create.
How can we use our body as a channel to transform our reality?
I believe that the constellation of the people who will be present is not incidental but by design. We are the material of the work.
We play together. We explore together. We experiment together.
And while we do all of that, we hold space for each and every one of us.
We practice being together in slowness, in presence, in care.
The workshop is a continuation of Ágnes Grélinger's former artistic research at KAIR residence. The workshop will be guided by Ágnes; dancer, choreographer and Bodytalk practitioner, who has many years of experience in facilitating somatic and creative workshops, improvisation and movement exploration.
Even though this is not a therapeutic space, what we are exploring might bring up vulnerable stories and memories. While we are most focused on artistic exploration and the transformative potential of art, in case it is needed, we are open to guide anyone who might need further assistance to the professionals with the appropriate training.
Come as you are; no former movement experience is necessary.
