Xabregas and Blessed are part of the eastern riverside area of Lisbon. Path of the East
, the way to Santiago, the road that has always left at
directed to Sacavém, road along the Tagus River that goes north. XVII here lived, gained fame of miracle and boosted the construction of the convent, with its name.
The manorial houses and convents served in the 19th century. XIX for warehouses, textile factories, tobacco, wines, cereal mills… the pantry of the capital until the century. XX.
Today everything is in urban renewal, a new town on the rio comes.
