The Kyjovský folk costume, which will be the subject of the program on Tuesday, August 27, was made in 2025 by master Martin Novosád, a renowned expert in Kyjov's costume tradition. However, it will never dress it - it does not feel it.
Kyjov folk costume is perceived as a cultural heritage of Czech identity. It carries not only historical value, but also a symbolic weight. However, anyone who decides to enter the exhibition can try the costume.
The dress itself will be accompanied by Sonya Darrow and Zuzana Kantorová. In his work he focuses on folk traditions, wearing folk costumes and questions of cultural identity. It examines how the inheritance changes in the current context and how it affects the formation of personal and collective identity. She is a co -founder of the initiative of Folklore IS Not Dead, in which she organizes community workshops aimed at restoring and reviving folk clothes. He also cares for the care of "shabby" folk costumes, which not only repairs, but again introduces life in new performative and social contexts.
Zuzana Kantorová In his artistic practice, he emphasizes equality, nemierarchy and principles of non -growing. Performative art. She studied text and screenplays at the Conservatory and VOŠ Jaroslav Ježek and the Faculty of Humanities of Charles University, where she specialized in environmental sociology and international humanitarian law.
