Perspektivy datového managementu a stewardshipu v české vědě

The Czech Social Science Data Archive allows you to invite you to the workshop. Project support providers have introduced new rules for data management in projects in recent years, in particular the obligation to create data management (DMP). Furthermore, there was an open science center, which, among other things, coordinates data management at the level of scientific institutions, and a new working position of the data steward has appeared, whose content is to ensure data management in scientific projects and DMP creation. However, the relatively rapid implementation of new rules and their control, the creation of new workplaces and the creation of new jobs have not yet resulted in the creation of communication channels between actors from different levels of open data system. In particular, data stewards and stewards feel uncertain about the expectations of project support providers concerning the form of DMP and other particulars associated with data management. The aim of this workshop is to connect representatives of subsidies, head of Open Science Center and Data Stevard, through the discussion to present perspectives of individual parties and provide space to answer important questions.
