About event
❄️ Come and enjoy the real Christmas atmosphere, discover your hidden talent, creativity and the joy of handwork. Also find original gifts that will please your loved ones. We look forward to seeing you in Tabačka!❄️
In cooperation with the associations Mareena, ArtEst, ALKA and ETP Slovakia, we have prepared a rich PROGRAM for you:
Mareena:
12 :00 - 13:30 | Bistro | Creating with Mareena: Christmas workshop and decorating the tree together
We are calling all the little helpers :) At the children's creative workshop, we will make simple and colorful Christmas decorations, which we will then hang together on the Christmas tree in Tabačka and conjure up a wonderful Christmas atmosphere.
14:00 - 16:00 | Bistro | Christmas baking with Mareena
Bring your children to us and help us make Tabačka smell good. Little confectioners will cut out gingerbread in our workshop and prepare simple Christmas pastries, which they will take home in a package after "hard" work.
14:00 - 16:00 | Bistro | Living library with Mareena: Christmas customs of people from abroad
Imagine a library where unusual stories are not read, but told. The living books in our library are foreigners living in and around Košice, who for various reasons found themselves in Slovakia and found their second home here. Come "borrow" them, listen to their life stories and learn more about whether and how Christmas is celebrated in their home countries. You can "read" and discuss in Slovak and English.
16:30 - 17:00 | Bistro | Mareena's musical guest: Ukrainská Spievanka
Come stop for a moment, slow down and listen to beautiful Ukrainian and Slovak Christmas songs performed by the group Ukrainská Spievanka. Ukrainská Spievanka is a unique project that was created as part of the Košice Archdiocese Charity Support Center, uniting women from all corners of Ukraine through singing and creative workshops. Singing has become a healing tool for these women, which helps them overcome sadness and memories of the families who stayed at home.
ETP Slovakia:
13:45 - 14:00 | Bistro | Dance performance by LstreetK9
The dancers are elementary school students and have been practicing hip-hop choreography for the second year under the guidance of Martina Zsigová. We cordially invite you!
Artest, o.z.:
16:00 - 17:30 | Children's corner | Magical creative workshop and handicraft market
Come with us to experience a unique atmosphere of creativity in the company of actors from the Hopi Hope Theater. Immerse yourself in the magic of hand-made macrame decorations for the Christmas tree, where your imagination will turn into beautiful decorations.
15:00 | Bistro | Market with handmade decorations and gifts
In addition to the creative workshop, you will also be enchanted by our market with handmade decorations and gifts:
- Embroidered Christmas cards
- Fine embroidered felt ornaments
- Cute reindeer
- Stylish embroidered bags
- Fragrant gingerbread
ALKA:
16:00 – 17:30 | Children's corner | ALKA creative workshop: Sensory carpet for Tabačka
We cordially invite you to a unique creative workshop as part of the "Christmas in Tabačka" event! Together we will create a special sensory carpet that will serve as an interactive and educational element in the children's corner of Tabačka. This carpet will be not only beautiful, but also a functional gift that will delight and develop the senses of the smallest visitors.
Why a sensory carpet?
- Supports the development of fine motor skills
- Stimulates children's senses
- Helps to learn new textures and materials
- Provides a fun and safe space for exploration
