About event
Cocoman and Pokyman will christen the new album PESTRÍ BOYS at the only joint concert in the Czech Republic and it will be a powerful synergy!
The Slovak and Czech reggae scenes have connected on a record on which the duo Cocoman and Pokyman, two pioneers of reggae and dancehall , join forces. The album is a celebration of diversity and reflects the colorfulness of today's music world. But all tracks are united by the main stream of inspiration - reggae, dancehall and Caribbean music. The album was produced equally by Lukie FWD and Coco Jammin. The album was presented at a joint live show at the Uprising festival. Those who were there know that there is a lot to look forward to!
The Pestrí boys will bring an almost two-hour joint set to Cross, where in addition to all the tracks, other collaborations, news, remixes and remakes will be heard.
The biggest Slovak dreadlock in the game - MC Ronald Weedman, who is a fresh character on the scene and will bring his new EP - LÁSKY PLNÝ HULK to Cross, will perform as support, which he will christen on the spot. The EP features guests such as Boy Wonder and Zverina and is released on 11.11.
Two DJs take turns behind the DJ desk in the first part of the evening. DJ Simple Sample - member of the legendary Ghetto Youths sound, head of the Uprising festival and Reggae Callin label and Selector Boldrik - a well-known collector of dub records and party makers across genres will arrive from Slovakia.
