About event
Peter Lipa with a supergroup at the Central Slovak Educational Center.
PETER LIPA, THE MOST IMPORTANT
PERSONALITY OF THE SLOVAK JAZZ SCENE due to huge interest again in Banská Bystrica.
What more can I add? Nothing, just come, listen and enjoy a great concert full of swing, blues, jazz, insight and the unmistakable voice of a performer who fundamentally shaped the Slovak music scene.
Live performance is his favored way of performing. He started in the 60s in the cult V-club and later from 1980 to 1995 he sang regular Thursdays in the memorable Stará sladovna.
His career is best mapped by individual albums. Various musical ideas alternate here. Their common denominator is the vocal performance of Petr Lipa, which is based on the legacy of jazz and blues greats.
Advance ticket sales: €29
