Petr Janeček: Pověsti a legendy mezi orální a písemnou tradicí

Petr Janeček is a Prague ethnologist and folklorist. He works as a associate professor and deputy director of the Institute of Ethnology of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University; Until 2013, he worked as the head of the Ethnographic Department of the National Museum. He raised research stays and carried out field and archive research in the US, Austria, Poland and Slovenia. It focuses primarily on researching contemporary verbal folklore and theory, methodology and history of folkloristics. He publishes on verbal folklore and related topics in professional, cultural and social press.
