Petro Live: Adriana Morn

Music producer Adriana Morn (Adriána Vančová, known as timmi) works independently but also in collaborations. She draws some of the foundations for her work from sacred music, from which she draws inspiration and creates modified parts converted into vocals or keyboard beats.

For her, music is a mystical practice. She uses her layered voice anchored in the foundations of classical singing, translated into various harmonies and microtonalities that are typical of her expression. Other instruments that play an important role for her are synthesizers and other keyboard instruments – her first releases contain dense drone surfaces interspersed with noise, piano, spoken word and vocals. She is inspired by the overlapping of dirty, less concrete or abstract elements with the crystalline sounds of a synthesizer, field recordings or piano. Her debut album Theosis (2023) was released on the label Stoned to death and Řehole, other music was released on several compilations (the most recent is the album Prah released on the Slovak label Warm Winters, where Ťažova reflects the current feeling of bleakness and hopelessness in the world with the composition Ťažova). Her music also appeared on NTS radio, KIOSK radio, and others.
