Petržalská akadémia vzdelávania - Martin Kasarda: Kedy dostane AI Nobelovu cenu za literatúru?

We invite you to the ninth lecture of the 3rd year of the Petržal Academy of Education project.

Will we read books written by artificial intelligence? Or do we prefer to have stories told by people who have experienced love, disappointments and endless waiting lines at the post office?

Let's take a look at what originality and creativity actually mean - and whether it can be programmed. Julia Kristeva says that every text is just a collection of other texts. And when AI does it, why is it bad?
We will show how an artistic text is born: between tradition, genre expectations and the author's personal experience. And then we'll look at AI, which, although it can put words together into impressive patterns, has yet to offer us either a tear of emotion or a fit of laughter from its own experience.

We will also discuss the possibilities of cooperation: AI can be a co-creator, editor or source of ideas. But the decisive factor remains whether a person can transform these outputs into something that has soul, humor and value.

Get ready for a lecture where we will remix the old and the new. And when will AI receive the Nobel Prize for Literature?

Entrance is free, free of charge
