About event
Since 1990, the month of October belongs to respect for elders. Since in Petržalka we value our oldest residents very much, together with our colleagues from Petržalka Cultural Facilities and Petržalka Library, we regularly organize a month-long event called Seniorfest for them. The year 2025 will not be an exception either. 🙂
We will start the whole program on Wednesday, October 1 at the Zrkadlový haj Culture House with the traditional event Bouquet of Greetings accompanied by the Orchestra Taste of Brass. 🎉 And that's just the beginning! For almost five weeks until October 30, our cultural facilities throughout Petržalka, including the Active Seniors' Club at Osuského 8, will be resounding with the voices of well-known performers, artists and experts.
Our invitation to the 18th edition was accepted by famous names such as Cigánski Diabli, Gizka Oňová, Petržalčanka, Melódia, the Žilina band Kortina and the singer Veronika Hatala, 🎤 who will really open up on Saturday, October 4 at Náměstí Republiky, where the popular Apple Feast will take place. 🍎 Out of respect for you, the singer Adriena Bartošová will take care of the grand finale. 🎙️
Meanwhile, seniors can look forward to sports activities, including a bowling and table tennis tournament, 🎳🏓 lectures, workshops, exhibitions, theater performances, dance courses led by the experienced Petr Modrovský, skill training, a travel club and there will also be Golden TV returns with Karin Hajdu. In short, everyone will find something for themselves, regardless of whether you are a regular participant of the festival or it will be your first time.
Are you one of those born later, but do you have seniors around you? Tell them about the event or accompany them to it, treat them to quality time and give them a chance to meet old or make new friends. 🍀 #petrzalkazije #seniorfest #kulturavpetrzalke
📷🎥 We warn visitors that during the event, photographic and/or video recordings may be made in order to inform about the activities of the Bratislava-Petržalka Municipality.
