About event
Poetic Pharmacia
Small gestures in public space
6 to 8 March
Thursday and Friday, from 15h to 20h; Saturday, from 10am to 1pm
Fauna & Flora kiosk
Free access, subject to capacity.
Poetic Pharmacia prescribes poetic recipes according to one's pathologies and afflictions. There is no ben-u-ron here, only Poem-U-Ron tablets who offer hope and comfort and can be consumed in silence or out loud. The words also heal and for all soul pains can be offered a literary remedy.
From an original concept of poet deborah Alma, dating back to 2011, poetic pharmacia now gains new dimension by settling in the kiosk in front of the theater, where patients have a varied range of poetic medicines in the form of books classified by emotion. The service pharmacist is available to avoid recipes and indicate prescriptions for all maleites, which can also be complemented with coffee and Fauna & Flora cakes. The goal, this, remains, as in the original project Emergency Poet by Deborah Alma, counteracting the preconceived idea that poetry is difficult, obscure and elitist and, above all, promoting its therapeutic effects on mental health, unknown to many people. Small gestures in the public space.
Poetic consultations and poetic Pharmacia are parallel programming to person - since I''ve Been Me.
