INTIMSPRAY – energetic punk-ska-pogo madness with great visual and theatrical elements. Intimspray were "big" in Austria and Bavaria in the early 80s. They were even featured in BRAVO magazine. Singer Heinz D. Heisl is a legendary figure in the Viennese cultural scene and began his musical career in 1968. The group Intimspray broke up in 1984 and Heinz then pursued a distinguished literary career, publishing poetry and later co-founding the annual Sprachsalz literary festival in Hall in Tirol. He also lived in New York's Chelsea Hotel and was involved in the literary scene in San Francisco. Heinz recently reformed the group Intimspray with some younger members and released the album "Religion" in 2021. This February they released their new studio album "Die Butter" and will play some songs from it at the Rock Café. Get ready for a surprise!
