About event
Last summer, for the fifteenth time, a group of Czech and Slovak volunteers went to the mountain village of Mulbekh in Malý Tibet in the north of India to contribute a two -week program to diversify the teaching in the local elementary school. Among the volunteers this time the KF FJFi CTU was represented in Prague and the pupils had the opportunity to learn about the foundations of nuclear and particle physics and to produce their own cosmic radiation detector.
How to make such a detector in a area with limited access to scientific equipment, what surprises are waiting for volunteers, or what do not take with them on an aircraft of Inidic airlines?
You can find out all this on Tuesday 29. 4. At 18:00 at the Scout Institute.
