Baptism of the first common book of art team Laundry - Pi*ou to the wall.
Laundry is a group of women who have joined to help homeless people and change opinions on them. They are based on their own experience with life on the street and know well obstacles that prevent people from living dignified. According to them, poverty and loss of housing are not only about lack of money, but also about loneliness and loss of contact with others. Therefore, they created a place where practical help mixes with art. With the help of a mobile studio-pellet, they offer people without access to hygiene the possibility to wash and dry their clothes. Various activities such as writing, drawing or filming movies meet and do regularly. Their activities connect different people and create space to share experiences and joint creation. The book symbolically completes the first five years of the operation of the team, which together intensively forms from the Pandemy Covid-19. Since 2024, the team has been operating in the summer months with its mobile laundry in the Prague district of Jahodnice. It is often used in colloquial slang, especially among people on the street, and means "that it is not worth anything". The book of pussy to the wall consists of more than two hundred pages of author's illustrations and interviews that led the members of the team with each other with other selected personalities. The publication also contains photographs from existing art projects and selected poems. It will be released in September 2025 in a mined envelope with black leather imitation according to the design of the graphic designer Lê Thị Hoài.
