_______
This debut stood at the beginning of the famous trilogy, which includes NATTresan and Nordhem, described as a "melancholic narrative that is carried on the waves of sadness and joy".
✨ Lindstrand is also known as a member of the cult Danish rock band Kashmir, the author of music for a number of Scandinavian films and television series, and as the author of the musical accompaniment to the computer game of Builder's Journey awarded in 2020. His album Klangland from 2023 was involved in the Berlin string ensemble, which earned recognition during concerts throughout Scandinavia and Germany, which culminated in the prestigious Elbphilharmony in Hamburg. His new EP Last Child in the Woods (2024) continues in this tradition and mixes the piano with synthesizers, strings and wind instruments. The work inspired by the Nordic nature brings a meditative and melodic sound experience that takes away its depth by the audience to the innermost corners of their own minds. At this concert at Piano Day Henrik Lindstrand will perform with Swedish bassist Thommy Andersson. With the passion for creating deeply suggestive compositions, Chalupski offers its listeners a platform for exploring their own emotional depths. Although he has classical education, he draws inspiration from a wide range of musical influences and continues to investigate the boundaries of his artistic expression. His distinctive musical journey thus connects the live performances of compositions from his solo albums, studio work and collaboration on commercial and artistic projects. In his work, he focuses primarily on lighting installations that connect space, technology and atmosphere. He actively cooperates with the Prague Bikejesus Club and the Warehouse Comics team, where he participates in various projects connecting visual art with the music and club scene. Day.
