About event
Also this year we will meet to commemorate one of the darkest chapters of Roma history - the Roma Holocaust. 2025 at 17:00 at the SNP Square in Banská Bystrica will be heard words of people from various organizations and institutions who remind us that hatred, extremism and discrimination do not have a place in our society. Daniel - Director of Roma Education Fund
• Enriko - a young man from a marginalized community who openly talks about his own experience with racism
Evangelical Church a.v. In Slovakia
• Kristína Maková - coordinator of the Romane tea initiative (Roma girls)
🎶 The accompanying program:
• Roma poems performed by girls from the Romane tea initiative
• Traditional Roma folk music pri Múzeu SNP, kde položíme veniec, pomodlíme sa a v tichej úcte si pripomenieme všetkých, ktorí boli umlčaní len preto, kým boli. Finally, Mrs. Viera Kováčová from the SNP Museum will speak, which will bring the historical facts about the Roma Holocaust.
Come with us to express solidarity, respect and humanity. Not to forget.
