About event
Post-Hardcore Pile returns to Prague after six years, and in MeetFactory in the autumn he will present his ninth album Sunshine and Balance Beams
𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚. Pile was born from a solo project of guitarist Rick Maguirea around 2009 in the living environment of the Boston DIY scene. Since the 2010 Magic Isn't Real in its distinctly melancholic sound, which mixes the influences of experimental rock and post-hardcore, they are exploring the dynamics between the moments of distressing silence and catharsis explosions of noise.
In Prague, they presented themselves in 2019 with the renowned album Green and Gray, this autumn after six years returns with the new album Sunshine and Balance Beams, which is released in August. Pile describes it as a musical manifest of personal growth, accepting uncertainty and finding balance - both in creation and in life. -The Line of Best Fit
