About event
Pink Breath of Heaven is a dream of shimmering guitars, captivating melodies and introspective lyrics. Liv Field and Rex John Shelverton's (Tamaryn) project Pink Breath of Heaven combines the expansive textures of shoegaze with the boundless energy of modern psychedelia to create a world where color and emotion intertwine.
After the breakthrough single Blue Is the Morning, the band quickly gained wider attention, leading to their signing to Little Cloud Records even before the release of their debut album. In the following year, Pink Breath of Heaven continued to shape a sound that ranges from hypnotic, slowly unfolding compositions to massive walls of sound, drawing listeners into a space that lingers long after the music has faded. Their music is often described as familiar yet completely unique.
Having performed alongside The Dandy Warhols, LSD and the Search for God, Alison's Halo, Ty Segall and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Pink Breath of Heaven quickly became a formidable force within San Francisco's burgeoning underground scene.
Their debut album Colors Make a Sound distills the project's emotional intensity and textural ambition into a cohesive, immersive body of work, each song delivers a unique experience – establishing Pink Breath of Heaven as an important voice in today's music scene.
At the end of 2025, Pink Breath of Heaven signed to Westward Recordings, an independent label based in Los Angeles that distributes through Warner ADA. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to expansive, emotionally resonant, cinematic music that sets the pace for the next wave of album releases.
