Charlotte Day Wilson, 28, is a singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Juno nominee, originally from Toronto, Canada. Her style is imbued with a dark, melancholy soul, her R&B roots blending intricately with her powerful vocals. Having previously collaborated with heavyweights such as Daniel Caesar, D Mile and Babyface – to name a few – she has showcased her talent in production and collaboration. Her previous EPs, CDW and Stone Woman, showed crystalline intent, a moving display of power and elegance that earned her praise from all sides. Charlotte released her debut album ALPHA in July 2021 to critical acclaim.
Liana Flores
British-Brazilian singer-songwriter Liana Flores combines dreamlike vignettes from her intimate world with melodies melancholy guitar players, creating music that invites listeners to lose themselves in its unique soundscapes. She draws inspiration from a range of styles, combining British folk, classic jazz and '60s Brazilian bossa nova, resulting in a haunting and distinctive musical blend.
Following the runaway global success of her self-produced song " rises the moon”, Liana begins her first headlining dates with her new group. These concerts will feature new material that she has meticulously crafted, promising a spellbinding experience for her audience.
Konradsen
Michael's Book on Bears —the duo's enchanting and subtly provocative second album Norwegian Konradsen—begins like a postcard, an open invitation to leave the cities of the world behind.
On and off for six months, Jenny (heavily pregnant with her second child) and Eirik settled into a rustic cabin in foot of a mountain in Storfjord. His large black wood stove fired at full blast against the snow that piled up outside as winter came in waves. Along with drummer Ivar Myrset Asheim and bassist Erlend Vesteraas, the duo constructed these songs in an intentionally simple manner, omitting the textural eccentricities of their first album so that these stories from the home front could stand on their own, like this cottage in the garden. Konradsen gave himself the space necessary to decorate what they had taken so much care to build.
