About event
Interactive lecture in the exhibition "Františka Plamínková and we".
Through the objects and materials in the exhibition, the thematic lecture will introduce Františka Plamínková as an important figure of the international feminist movement and a woman on the move.
Plamínková felt like a fish in water abroad, and her international authority was at least as great in her time as at home. Representatives of the international women's movement nicknamed her the "feminist flame" (flambeau du féminisme).
Co-author of the exhibition Mgr. Gabriela Dudeková Kováčová, Ph.D. from the Institute of History of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, which has been devoted to the history of the international women's movement for a long time.
Meet the participants of the lecture at the ticket office of the New Building of the National Museum.
