Join East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District and Green Lenses to discover the benefits of growing plants native. You'll learn how to choose the native plants best suited for your garden, as well as learn about common native plant communities and effective planting tips to help them thrive. We will also highlight native plant characteristics and ideal growing conditions for many native groundcovers, shrubs and trees

- Water: We recommend participants bring a reusable water bottle to reduce single-use plastic use.
- Interaction level: Low. This workshop is presentation-based, where a presenter will share most of the information. Participants will be able to ask questions during the presentation. Participation is optional.
