Every year, Pilsen celebrates the liberation of the city by the US Army by the spectacular festivities of Freedom. Unfortunately, in a flood of the arrival of American soldiers on May 6, 1945 in the West Bohemian metropolis, but unfortunately fits the dramatic events of the previous day. As in other occupied places, there was a anti -German rebellion in Pilsen and the open fight with the occupiers had their victims. The lecture will focus on this neglected Pilsen uprising.
